This one day workshop provides participants with essential information on tobacco use by people living with mental illness, as well as strategies for supporting people to quit or reduce their smoking.

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • provide factual information on tobacco and mental illness
  • conduct effective conversations about tobacco use
  • understand the process of change in the context of quitting smoking
  • support people in their reduction/quitting journey.
