Government Policy


 

One Door Mental Health is committed to advocating for improved community awareness and access to quality mental health services in Australia. One way to influence change is to undertake “systemic advocacy”, which is action taken to influence or produce systemic change to ensure fair treatment and social justice for people with mental illness and their carers. Changes can be pursued in through improvements to legislation, government policy and the policy and practices of agencies providing services.
