Introducing Friends of One Door
Over the last 30 years we have formed fruitful relationships with so many of our valued members, donors, Sunflower Club members, partners, sponsors, clients and colleagues.
Everyone plays their part in working towards a better world for people living with mental illness. We are deeply grateful for all the support you have given to our organisation. Many of you have supported it faithfully every year with your membership fees, donations, advocacy, volunteering or attendance at events.
The time has come for our membership and donation structure to reflect our new approach. Many people have signed up to become members of the new company when we changed from an incorporated association to a company limited by guarantee. This requires no payment but entitles you to a vote. As a company member you bear a liability of $1 should the company be wound up.
We would now like to offer you the opportunity to become a Friend of One Door Mental Health. This new structure will bring everyone who supports One Door together under one umbrella.
As a Friend of One Door you will receive:
- the monthly e-news
- first invitations to events
- printed publications from time to time
Your support as a Friend of One Door is very important for our advocacy work. The more people we have supporting us, the stronger our voice when we talk to decision-makers. Your financial support is also very important. Your donations help us to provide services to the people who need them as well as funding our advocacy work.
We have set the minimum annual cost of being a Friend at the same level as the former membership structure:

| Pensioner | $ 10 |
| Single | $ 25 |
| Family | $ 35 |
| Not For Profit organisations | $ 55 |
We also encourage you to make a donation to support our work. If you have already paid your annual fee for this financial year, you automatically become a Friend of One Door and receive the regular communications.
