PIRSWS is an Australian Government initiative to better support people with severe and persistent mental illness with complex needs, and their carers and families, by ensuring services and supports from multiple sectors work in a more collaborative, coordinated and integrated way. PIRSWS covers the local government areas of Bankstown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Camden, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee.
If you have a severe and persistent mental illness, a Partners in Recovery (PIR) Support Facilitator will help you identify the supports that you need.
If you are a carer or family member, Partners in Recovery (PIR) recognises the important role carers and family members play in the care and recovery of a person with a severe mental illness and makes it easier to access the right range of services and support.
Partners in Recovery South Western Sydney is a program of One Door Mental Health, in partnership with South Western Sydney PHN.
The South Western Sydney Recovery College is a place where people living with mental illness can go to learn and share their own experience with mental health. South Western Sydney Recovery College draws on the wisdom, knowledge and skills of people who are walking their own path to recovery.
South Western Sydney Recovery College is a service offered by Partners in Recovery South Western Sydney.
