Legal Aid – The Mental Health Advocacy Service

 

The Mental Health Advocacy Service (MHAS) is a state-wide specialist service of Legal Aid NSW. The main role of the MHAS is to provide free legal representation to patients in mental health inquiries held by the Mental Health Review Tribunal under the Mental Health Act 2007 (NSW) and the Mental Health (Forensic Provisions) Act 1990 (NSW).
