Welcome to One Door Balgowlah
Nestled in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, just 12kms from the CBD and a five minute drive from the beautiful Manly beach, Balgowlah gets its name from an Aboriginal word meaning North Harbour.
It is also home to the historic-heritage listed ‘Whitehall’ which was the early home to Sir Edmund Barton and his family prior to his election as Australia’s first Prime Minister. Balgowlah encompasses everything the Northern Beaches is known for with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, stunning Balgowlah Golf Course, and the Manly to Spit Bridge walk with gorgeous harbour views.

One Door Pioneer Clubhouse, Balgowlah:
Pioneer Clubhouse is a community based program for adults who experience mental illness. Participation in the Clubhouse gives people the opportunity to rejoin the worlds of friendships, family, meaningful work, employment, education and to access a range of different supports and services. Pioneer is an accredited clubhouse. This means that the staff and members manage it together and work side-by-side as colleagues doing tasks, running a cafe, preparing meals, tending the vegetable garden, and planning social activities. You’re also welcome to drop by for a coffee and a chat.
