Services Update

eNews July 2017 - Services Update

What's new behind One Door

One Door is pleased to announce that it has been awarded three new contracts from Primary Health Networks:

Western Sydney Primary Health Network

Western Sydney Recovery College

One Door is running the Western Sydney Recovery College

Recovery College is a new way of approaching psychosocial rehabilitation with a focus on education.  It is very exciting to be given this opportunity to deliver such an innovative service.  Courses are running across the Western Sydney region so please check the website for anything of interest near you.

H2H - Hospital to Home

One Door has also been commissioned to provide our H2H - Hospital to Home Service from Cumberland and Blacktown Hospitals.  This is the program we piloted last year in six hospitals.

H2H - Hospital to Home provides trained peer workers to support people in their transition from hospital back to their home and community. View the video on the pilot program here

South Western Sydney Primary Health Network

Psychology Services

One Door now provides psychological services in the region.  The people we will be providing psychological services to are those from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse background as well as people living in the disadvantaged areas of Claymore, Airds and Miller.  This is a wonderful opportunity for our own Health Care team to grow and provide psychological support for many people who previously have not had access to these services.
