Becoming a volunteer for One Door Mental Health is a rewarding experience but it is also a commitment - people will be relying on you so you will need to think it through before you apply.
Before offering to volunteer, you should think about:
The One Door Mental Health Information & Support Line is made up of trained volunteers… some tertiary students, counseling professionals, people with lived experience of mental illness, carers of people living with mental illness, and supportive members of the public with an interest in mental health.
***Due to the large number of applications received this year, we will no longer be accepting Volunteer applications for the Information & Support Line for 2020.
Please download the volunteer information flyer (PDF 255.2KB) before applying.
Please note that our Information & Support Line operates out of our Gladesville Office.
To apply, please email your current CV and a 300 word introduction on your interest in mental health to trisscoordinator@onedoor.org.au or call 02 9879 2663 for more information.
For all other volunteer opportunities, please contact your nearest One Door service directly.
