The team at Harmony House aim to help members on their path towards recovery from mental illness. We do this by developing each person’s self-esteem through social networks and their participation in recreational activities. We also help people avoid isolation and give them a secure, inclusive place to go.
Our activities contribute to the day-to-day running of Harmony House, they include assisting with lunch preparation, garden maintenance, outreach to others living with mental illness and receiving guests. We also offer a range of other activities such as social outings, health and fitness, art, creative writing and a weekly support group.
Our centre-based group activities that focus on building social, recreational, vocational and psycho-educational skills in a safe and positive environment. We also offer individual support services and coordination of support to those with an NDIS package. The Harmony House team are experienced at facilitating group program participation and one-to-one supports for NDIS clients, so individuals can work towards their goals. If you have any questions regarding inclusion of Harmony House as a service provider as part of your own NDIS plan, or that of your client or family member, please don’t hesitate to contact us via the details on this page.
