CPS Program South Eastern NSW

The Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Community (CPS) Program aims to promote community participation, inclusion, and cohesion for people with mental health issues.

The program provides short-term support to eligible participants to build skills to manage their mental health challenges and improve social and daily living skills. Sessions are goal-oriented and designed in collaboration with a psychosocial coach with focus on building a person’s recovery plan.

The program is for adults (aged 16-65) with severe or complex mental health challenges in South Eastern NSW who are not receiving NDIS supports.

The program can assist with:

  • Service Navigation (finding supports)
  • Psychosocial NDIS applications
  • Recovery Supports
  • Recovery Focused Group Activities

Support is provided through a mix of 1:1 in-person support, groups, and telehealth, depending on location and availability, usually for between 3 – 12 months.
