One Door Mental Health Bega is home to reliable supports and services for people living with mental illness in south eastern NSW. Bega offers one-on-one and group support for those living with mental illness through:
Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaMs) provides person-centred recovery for people living with a mental illness. One Door works with each person to develop and work on goals as part of their Individual Recovery Plan. Our work has demonstrated the recovery outcomes improve.
PHaMs services will progressively transition to NDIS. As an NDIS provider, One Door offers one:onesupport for people with an NDIS plan. The NDIS can be challenging to negotiate so either speak to your support worker or call us for more information.
The One Door team in Bega are experts in caring for carers.
Looking after someone living with mental illness can certainly take its toll. One Door Carer Services provides education, advocacy and support through the Family and Carer Mental Health Program and the mental health system.
One Door’s Carer Advocates based in Bega provide individual support services and education and training for carers and families of someone with a mental illness.

One Door Mental Health is the service provider for the NSW Family & Carer Mental Health Program in partnership with five Local Health Districts (LHD). The five LHDs involved are Hunter New England, Murrumbidgee, Southern NSW, South Western Sydney and Sydney. The FCMHP is funded by the NSW Ministry of Health. One Door employ Carer Advocates to deliver this program to those who support someone living with a mental illness.
One Door Carer Advocates give you practical support at what can be a very difficult time for your family. They will support you with information to cope, help in building a network of support people, assistance in navigating the mental health system and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). A loved one’s mental illness diagnosis can be a hard time for the family, One Door’s Carer Advocates are available to help you access the supports and services you need but may not know exist.
