The National Psychosocial Support Access (NPSA) assist and support people living with significant mental health challenges to test their eligibility and apply for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) as well as linkage to services that can support recovery journey. This is a joint program between Flourish Australia and One Door Mental Health in Western Sydney region.
In order to be eligible for NPSA, the following criteria apply:
• Live in the Western Sydney Region • Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident (Or NZ Citizen with a Special Category protected Visa) • Experience a long term and severe mental health challenges that is likely to be permanent • Interested in applying for the NDIS • Are under 65 years of age
Program Information:
• Support to apply for NDIS • Linage to help improve clinical access and other service supports • Linkage to improve social connection to community inclusion
One Door Mental Health NPSA covers:
• Parramatta LGA • Cumberland LGA
Flourish Australia NPSA covers:
• Blacktown LGA • The Hills Shire LGA
