Illawarra Mental Health Week Luncheon

On Friday 11 October, One Door's Illawarra Committee hosted a 'Mental Health in the Workplace' corporate luncheon as part of Mental Health Week. 

More than 350 people attended the event including His Excellency, Governor-General David Hurley and Mrs Linda Hurley, and Chair of the National Mental Health Commission, Lucy Brogden. Mrs Linda Hurley even wrote a song especially for One Door Mental Health! 

Thank you to Deputy Chair Janine Cullen and the Illawarra Committee for their tireless work. The event raised much needed funds for One Door's Illawarra Clubhouse and would not have been possible without support from local companies such as IOH, South 32, Mercer, Lancaster Law and Mediation, Hume Coal, AON, Kells, KPMG, South Coast Private, NSW Business Chamber, Wollongong Coal, Snare, IES, Wollongong Private Hospital, BlueScope/WIN Community Partnerships, Illawarra Mercury, Wave FM, and Novotel Wollongong Northbeach.
