Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director
Jane is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist providing therapeutic treatment for people who live with severe and persistent mental illness and their carers. Jane has been working in community-based Mental Health services for 21 years and is currently the Clinical Director for One Door Health Care. She is passionate about working with people who have experienced psychosis and with the services and support systems that surround them. However, the focus of her clinical practice in recent years has been on treating Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), PTSD and Panic Disorder. Jane works from Balgowlah and Chatswood offices.
Sharyn has 20 years of experience working as a Psychologist in both private and community settings and a range of industries including employment placement, rehabilitation, psychological recovery, intellectual disability and aged care.
This experience enables Sharyn to understand the range of complex issues that a person experiencing mental health problems can face. Sharyn works from Chatswood, Burwood and Campbelltown offices.
Eloisa graduated in Psychology in Brazil in 1987 and was later awarded a Masters in Psychoanalysis at the Victoria University in 2008. She has worked in the mental health area since migrating to Australia in the early 90s. As a bilingual psychologist, she worked for the Transcultural Mental Health Centre for many years with the Brazilian and Portuguse Communities. Eloisa also works as a private psychotherapist treating adults, adolescents and children using the emotion-focused therapy that she combines with the psychoanalytic and systemic approaches to therapy. Eloisa is vegan and enjoys writing poems.
Vanessa Price is a Registered Psychologist (Clinical Psychology Registrar), coming from a background of working within the child protection and disability sectors. Vanessa views the client as the expert in their life journey and takes a supportive, empowering and non-judgemental approach in her therapeutic work.
Vanessa enjoys assisting clients to make meaning of their life experiences and tailors therapeutic interventions to meet each client’s individualised needs, drawing upon a range of evidence based treatment modalities. Vanessa has experience working with clients presenting with a wide range of mental health difficulties, including complex presentations. Vanessa’s ultimate aim is to work collaboratively with clients to build resilience, improve wellbeing and increase quality of life. Vanessa works from our Balgowlah, Chatswood and Burwood offices.
Ying Huang is a registered psychologist working in private practice. She provides psychological services under the frameworks of Medicare, Workers Compensation and CTP claims. Her service groups include adults, couples and adolescents. She focuses on intervention on a range of problems including depression, anxiety, trauma, work stress, rehabilitation, chronic pain, grief and loss, and relationship difficulties. She has experience and a particular interest in treating Adult Mood Disorders and Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She is also experienced in delivering Intelligence testing for adults and children, screening for psychopathology, and preparing psychological reports for legal and immigration purposes. She provides psychological services in both English and Chinese Mandarin, and is dedicated to helping clients of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
