Art classes give me lots of satisfaction and a sense of worth. It makes me feel I can achieve something good in my life. My teacher is awesome!
I wanted to show my gratitude to Clubhouse Wollongong.
The road to recovery for me has been a hard one, but it's getting easier to meet new people, trust again and feel 100%completely safe. To feel I'm worthy. To feel I can sit down and eat without being bullied, or even worse, food to be taken off me.
This painting is of Wollongong Harbour, not far from the pools, looking down to the lighthouse and Belmore Basin.
Iv'e called this painting Wollongong The City of Love and Hope. Because this is exactly what it is for us at Clubhouse Wollongong.

Brighter than she's ever seen before

Found loveliness
And now the world receives
from her dower
The message of strength and inner peace...
