Volunteer

Register here to train as a volunteer to help those living with mental illness, carers and families.

Volunteering

Becoming a volunteer for One Door Mental Health is a rewarding experience but it is also a commitment - people will be relying on you so you will need to think it through before you apply.

Before offering to volunteer, you should think about:

  • Do you live near one of our One Door Locations?
  • What type of voluntary work you would like (and wouldn't like) to do?
  • How much time you can give?

Information & Support Line Volunteer

The One Door Mental Health Information & Support Line is made up of trained volunteers… some tertiary students, counseling professionals, people with lived experience of mental illness, carers of people living with mental illness, and supportive members of the public with an interest in mental health.

***The next intake of volunteers for the Information and Support Line will be mid 2023.

Please note that our Information & Support Line operates out of our Paramatta Office - 6 Grose Street Parramatta NSW 2150
