Personality disorders are common but often misunderstood. The purpose of this one day workshop is to provide clarity on the range of personality disorders and some of the underlying causes. This workshop will also provide an opportunity for participants to develop an understanding of trauma-informed care, as well as skills for supporting people presenting with a personality disorder. It is particularly aimed at addressing concerns, such as distress, self-harm and boundaries.

By the end of this workshop participants will know about:

  • a range of personality disorders
  • some of the causes of personality disorders
  • identifying signs, symptoms and experiences of personality disorders
  • supporting people living with a personality disorder within a trauma-informed perspective.

Every participant receives a workbook and information kit.
